Restored by iCloud

Ok people. The future of backup is here. Luckily gPhone 3.0 was functional enough to set up iCloud and do a back up. Luckily too this one was insured BEFORE it hit asphalt.

Anyway when my new iPhone came EVERYTHING was restored in what seemed an instant. It appears that for the first time in history I’ve survived a hardware crash without ANY DATA LOSS.
