The thing i love re: #CIFF is meeting people like Farmer Lee Jones or Vince the surfer. Today I got to shake 9K Needles director Doug Dearth’s hand and thank him for making a tremendous and powerful film

Wasn’t sure that I wanted to see this (not into needles) but bumped into my friend Kate who is seeing it with her sister. Not sure if I’ll stay for the filmforum (it is one of the best things re: the fest. Where else can u talk about these things?) but Local Heroes do get preferential treatment
Going to #CIFF Bomber or Phoenix for coffee with Carl Jones & Friends is going to be a gametime decision I think

Just saw Queen to Play. Very lovely and romantic. Makes me want to play again. My dad taught me when I wad young. He used to play with their family doctor whom immigrated from Lativa.
